Our roots grow from a lifelong engagement and dedication to entrepreneurship and more accessible finance. We are true entrepreneurs of the heart and in life willing to change the way we produce and consume goods.

We have the ambition to become a real game changer, mostly in the way we consume, promoting more local and more sustainable products.

Years on, we have been striving for the delivery and production of more sustainable more local products to everyone. With Shiperise, we believe having a great and useful solution for inventory purchases, and we want to make it available to all local entrepreneurs.

Founding team

  • Founder, CEO

    Lionel is passionate about entrepreneurship alternative funding models. He was the founder of numerous organisations and startups, and he helped fundraising more than 4M EUR to various inititiatives. He is Alumni Consultant from Oliver, Wyman and co.

    He holds an BSc. and MSc. degree in Management (UIC 2004), specialized in Finance from Solvay Business School (Brussels, Belgium).

    He also studied investment banking at City University (London , United Kingdom)

  • Founder, Executive Sales

    Nicolas is passionate about business and foreign culture. Previous to working at Shiperise he was Consultant for Ernst & Young in the Financial Accounting Advisory Services practice. He is also the founder of a local business managing more than 10 people.

    He holds an BSc. and MSc. degree in Management from ICHEC Management School (Brussels), with specialisation in Finance. He also studied Marketing at University of Alberta (United States).

    Raphaël Beaumond is an experienced strategist with track record in running sustainable-oriented businesses. He is committed to build the post-carbon society of tomorrow.

    He is Investment Manager at One Planet Studio (Belgium). Previous to that he was Impact Investment manager at Lita.co (impact-oriented crowdfunding platform).

    He holds a BSc. and MSc. degree in Electromechanical Engineering from KU Leuven (Belgium). He also hold an MSc. degree in Political Economy from KU Leuven (Belgium). He also studied at KTH Royal Institute of Technology (Stockholm).

  • Advisor (International development & Economic model)

    Stephan Kampelmann is an entrepreneur and a scientific consultant specialized in ecological economist with a passion for urban transitions. He has a passion for sustainable economic systems and founded different organisations: the planning office OSMOS and Urban Ecology Centre Brussels.

    He hold a PhD. degree in Economy from ULB (Brussels). He has held various academics position in Maastricht, Lille, Paris, Brussels and Berlin and currently teaches urban economics at LoUIsE- Laboratory on Urbanism, Infrastructure and Ecologies - at the Faculty of Architecture, ULB (Brussels). He is working for several Institutes, Foundations and Regional governments. He is also fulfilling assignments for European institutions such as the European Commission, the European Research Council and the European Foundation for the Improvement of Working and Living Conditions.

  • Advisor (Law)

    Sylvie Rousseau is an expert Lawyer with 20+ years experience in transactional Law as well as in Technology related expertise. She was Head of Technology, Media & Telecom practice at Linklaters (Paris) where she advised various large organisations. She also worked as Head & Partner at Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP and Olswang Law firms.

    She has trained the Business Entrepreneurship program from Louvain Business School (UCL), she studied at Queen Mary University of London. She holds BSc. and MSc. degree in Law from UCL (Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium).
